Finding a job in Lithuania

EU member states citizens and their family members intending to work in Lithuania under an employment contract do not need to obtain a work permit. They can take part in recruitment procedures and find jobs under the same conditions as Lithuanian citizens.

  • Specialists: advertising and marketing professionals, teachers, doctors and nursing professionals, sales representatives, application developers, system administrators, engineers, construction managers.
  • Skilled workers and service sector workers: heavy truck and lorry drivers, cooks, car, taxi and van drivers, painters and workers of related professions, tailors, builders, concrete placers, concrete finishers and related workers, plumbers and pipe fitters, electricians, welders.
  • Unskilled workers: loaders, cleaners, maids and helpers in offices, hotels and other establishments, manufacturing workers, low-skilled engineering construction workers, packers (by hand), shelf-stackers, launderers and levellers (by hand), unskilled forestry workers, kitchen helpers.
