Work Abroad

Moving to another country is an important step. Before starting to look for a job it is important to realize that finding it in another country is not always easier than in Lithuania. In some regions of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) countries (Liechtenstein, Iceland, Norway) and Switzerland, the employment opportunities can vary widely. The best way to prepare yourself is to learn as much as possible about your country, national and regional labor market, cultural differences, living and working conditions.

EURES (European Employment Services) is a cooperation network designed to ensure the free movement of workers within the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland by providing information, advice and recruitment services to workers and employers.

There are more than 1000 EURES professionals across Europe who can be contacted at any stage of job search and moving to another country. These are qualified professionals with professional experience in practical, legal and administrative matters related to geographic and occupational mobility.
